If you don't know Malcolm Wilson and his work, now is the time to find out. Renowned photographer and creator of Humans of Central Appalachia, Malcolm Wilson is also a Harlan County native. The other secret that Malcolm's past students know is that he is a gifted instructor. You will walk away from this workshop with the skills to take and edit beautiful digital photos. You will also gain new friendships, eat delicious food, and listen to some terrific bluegrass music. The workshop kicks off on Wednesday, October 2 with supper and concludes on Sunday, October 6 with lunch.
Cost for the five-day workshop with all meals and lodging included is $395.
Visitors to Pine Mountain may stay in dormitory or cottage-style housing. Single rooms are available upon request. Linens are furnished.
Meals are served in the Laurel House dining room. When possible, the School serves vegetables grown on campus. Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
