Pine Mountain Settlement School Now Hiring for Kitchen and Cleaning Staff

Pine Mountain Settlement School is seeking applications for kitchen and housekeeping staff. As a member of the Pine Mountain Settlement team you will assist in: 1) preparation of meals for visitors; 2) clean-up of kitchen and all items associated with food preparation, dishes, utensils, glasses and other items needed for food service; 3) cleaning buildings and facilities in preparation for group visits, and 4) other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Must be able to perform all required cleaning duties; do all required work to prepare and serve meals and wash dishes, and be able to lift 30 pounds. Also, must be able to obtain State Department of Health Food Handler's Card and First Aid and CPR Certification., and pass Kentucky State Police Background Check. Willingness to work weekends and evenings required.

Desired Qualifications: Experience as prep cook or waitressing in sit-down restaurant; experience in hospitality (e.g. hotels, food services, tourism); proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and online food ordering; ability to operate commercial kitchen appliances and equipment.
